Prep
- Finely chop the garlic. Thinly slice the green onion, reserving the green parts for garnish.
- Combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and water in a bowl.
- Cook noodles according to package instructions. Rinse with cold water, drain well, and set aside.
Make the Sauce
- Over low heat, fry the garlic and the white part of the green onion in 2 tablespoons of cooking oil until golden.
- Add the red chili flakes. Fry until fragrant, ensuring the chili does not burn.
- Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and water mixture. Simmer until thick, about 3 minutes.
Stir Fry Noodles
- Add the drained noodles and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with green onion and toasted sesame seeds.

Ingredient Swap: I've often swapped out the specified noodles for whatever I have on hand, like ramen noodles or even thin spaghetti, and it always turns out great.
