Ingredients
  

  • 2 chicken breasts boneless skinless
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 Tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon dried tarragon
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Add olive oil, Dijon mustard, honey, tarragon, garlic powder, and salt to a medium bowl. Stir to combine.
  2. Add chicken breasts to the marinade and mix to evenly coat. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate to marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
  3. Remove chicken from the refrigerator. Place it in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  4. Air fry at 370°F for 10 minutes. Flip the chicken and cook for an additional 6-9 minutes for smaller breasts.
  5. Once the chicken reaches an internal temperature of at least 165°F, remove it from the air fryer basket. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • The size and thickness of the chicken breast will make a huge different in cook time. A smaller chicken breast may cook in 16-19 minutes, while a large chicken breast may cook between 20-28 minutes. If you do have a large chicken breast, you can slice into two thinner pieces to cut down on cooking time.
  • Chicken should be cooked until at least 165 degrees F to be safe. Use a meat thermometer to judge if your chicken is properly cooked.
  • All air fryers cook differently. Adjust cooking time as needed to make sure your chicken is cooked properly.
