Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken tenders
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sriracha

Method
 

  1. Combine salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
  2. Season chicken tenders on all sides with the combined seasonings.
  3. Mix honey and sriracha in a small bowl; set aside.
  4. Heat oil in a heavy-bottom frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Once the oil is hot, add the chicken tenders to the pan.
  6. Cook for 5 minutes, turning approximately every 2 minutes.
  7. Reduce heat to medium-low and add the honey sriracha sauce to the pan.
  8. Cook over medium-low heat for 3 minutes, turning frequently to coat the tenders in the sauce.
  9. Ensure chicken tenders are cooked through, checking for an internal temperature of 165°F.
  10. Allow the tenders to cool slightly, then enjoy!

Notes

  • I usually make a double batch of these. If you do this you may want to cook the batches separately as to not overcrowd the pan.
  • I serve leftovers cold on a salad – if you want to reheat them, reheat over low heat in a lightly oiled skillet
