Preparation
  1. Slice chicken into strips, zest and juice lemons, and mince garlic.
  2. Boil gnocchi according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through.
  2. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
  4. Add gnocchi to the skillet, followed by the chicken. Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine.
  5. Stir in lemon zest and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if using, and serve immediately.
Serving
  1. Serve hot, garnished with more fresh parsley and lemon slices if desired.
