  • 1.1 pounds frozen pitted cherries
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice or to taste

Method
 

  1. Place the frozen cherries and sugar in a food processor. Process until smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
  2. Once smooth, add lemon juice to taste and pulse to combine.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a freezer-safe container and freeze for 6 to 7 hours, or until firm.
